I was always fascinated by the mythology and history of Ancient Greece. It was fantastic to finally see the places that I have fantasized about. On this page are links to the various ancient sites that I visited.

The most impressive was probably the Acropolis of Athens, even though it is very crowded with tourists.

Mythologically, Delphi was the most interesting as the place of the Oracle of Delphi.

Historically the most interesting was probably Olympia as the founding place of the Olympic Games. But Philippi as the birth place of Alexander the Great, or Sparta as one of the most influential cities of ancient Greece were also close contenders.
