My first visit to the USA was in August 1966, while working on a freighter across the Atlantic from Germany.

My first stay in the USA was in the late 70's at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook for two and a half years. I moved permanently to the USA from Germany in 1984. I lived in Florida, Arizona, Maryland, and Massachusetts. I am in the process of putting some pictures from various parts of the USA online.
